Well, you're in luck! Because I want to start a lovely new book and would LOVE help designing the cover.
So I have a lot of adopted characters (whom I never actually used in art and stuff), so... What do I do? I put them all into a story and use them there!
It's a new story beginning in Summer 2017 which I'd like to call... "Imagine". That's the story title. It's about cats who leave their life of luxury as cats to live as humans on Earth: where life is tough, and there is never world peace.
I've been planning out this story for a little while but didn't have enough characters at the time... But now that I look at my list of characters... Let's just say I have PLENTY. Haha. Who knows, I may/may not adopt more characters to put This journal is the new one. Please refer here from now on.

Who knows, I may/may not adopt more characters to put in the story eventually... But if there's over 400 characters, I'm sure we're all good here. Haha.

If you look here, I have a little plan for this cover already. (Back cover is only the background, front is the characters in the background)

The detailed plan contains expression guides, titles, text, placing, etc.
The simple plan states how the background looks and the character placements.

BONUS CHALLENGE: Create a logo for me!
So, once you draw your cover, it'd be AMAZING if you could draw a logo for me too! You can put that right on the book cover too and it may boost your chance of winning significantly.

It can be a very simple logo. For example, the word "Imagine" in cursive letters. But it can be amazing and diverse, making it seem unique over anything I've ever done. For example, my logo for Petrified or my logo for my watermarks. I was planning a logo design, but I want to see if you guys can come up with something better than what I thought, but if you want to draw the logo based on my design, then here you go~ 
You may need refs for the other three characters, Dennis, Kandice, and Uranus for this if you plan on doing this.


If you can draw a super nice cover (and design a nice logo if you want) for me... Other than the main prize being 60 , you'll also get some amazing things...

 REQUIREMENTS:  
-You may submit as many entries as you feel like, but please limit changes/entries to 5 (Book cover entries only. Edit the logo as many times as you feel you need to).
-Allow me to use your logo in my art if you win! I will give you full credit.
-I may need to resize the image of your book cover if it is too large.
-If you are making the cover and it is a layered file, do me a favor and remove any layer that isn't related to the background so I can use it for a back cover! This will also boost your chance of winning! Just make sure you're not ONLY submitting the back cover. (In short, I would like a front and back cover file, if that's alright with you.)
-If you are submitting a logo and a book cover, submit the logo in a separate file to sta.sh so I can access/use it easily. You may put the logo on the book cover if you want.
-You cannot submit a logo unless you (try to at least) draw a book cover. If you can't draw one, that's okay, but it'll mean you won't get a very big prize
-If you would like sticker/necklace prizes listed below, send mailing address to sprinkleshayes@yahoo.com when required.
-Allow me to use your cover on my book if you win, please~
-If you are under 18 and would like the physical prizes, ask your parents first.
-No fighting in comments/with others off of competition journal
-Don't get upset with me if you don't win/don't brag about winning or your prizes will be voided. This is just for fun. Don't get too heavily competitive. You'll only get bragging rights once the book is published.
-No cheating/tracing art/bases allowed. All art must be original or entry/entries will be voided.

Q: Can I enter? Is it too late?
A: Don't ask. Just do it! The deadline is May 13th. It's April right now.

Q: What is a bell choker?
A: I'm wearing one. Look at this Image.

Q: May I make my own book design?
A: No. You MUST follow the plan. You may do it to experiment, but it will not count as a real entry unless I'm feeling "Nice".

Q: Can I make my own logo design?
A: Of course you can! That plan is pretty dumb but I only put it there in case you had no idea what to do XD

Q: When will I get my point?
A: Immediately after submitting your first book cover entry.

Q: What are the OCs in the cover plan/logo plan?
A: It's in the journal...

Q: Will this really be a published book? Like in the bookstores?
A: Yes! Forgotten intelligence is found in many places nowadays.

Q: Who is the main character?
A: Zilly, Marcie, Dennis, Kandice, and Uranus are all the main characters. The POV shifts from Zilly and Marcie to Dennis to Kandice and Uranus.

Q: Who is the main antagonist?
A: Still deciding against Sunflower, Denim, or Nemesis

Q: Does the hair on the cats have to be there?
A: All the cats have fur, but Zilly must have her wig because it is her trademark design!

Q: Can I change up the book cover plan to make it more realistic?
A: Only if you feel it's necessary, but I want the cover plan that way because the story isn't actually realistic and I want it to seem like two worlds or a utopia and dystopia, just like how I planned it to be (It's fiction so that's what I mean).

Q: Can I send you the WIP or does it have to be full on done?
A: You can show me progress if you want, it has to be full on done by May 13th

Q: You wouldn't be able to give like a general size? I have no clue what to size a book cover
A: I don't care the size, I usually size mine at about 430x648 but it felt too small, so I decided to not care as long as it was in a portrait viewing orientation~
